Dreaming of a trip to Mexico? Without having to catch a plane, you can already experience a Mexican-style soiree in Milan. In the famous Porta Garibaldi district is Agua Sancta. A little place that stands out from those in the area, with a simple and intimate style that combines elements of bistro, cocktail bar, tequileria and mezcaleria.
The venue is inspired by Mexico, with a design that includes tribal tattoos and colorful chalkboard drawings, creating an esoteric and intriguing atmosphere. The bistro/coktail bar is particularly renowned for its extensive selection of tequila and mezcal, with more than 40 varieties available for each. These Mexican spirits are the stars of the drink menu.
On the appetizer/dinner menu we find dishes that reflect Mexican cuisine, good to accompany their famous cocktails: tacos of different types (such as chicken or salmon tacos); guacamole to share; nachos; aguachile options – marinated raw fish ceviche – such as octopus marinated with lime, red onion, jalapeno, cucumber, celery, cilantro and pineapple or marinated salmon, cucumber, celery, jalapeño, passion fruit, spicy corn; and sweet treats, such as cheesecake.
Agua Sancta offers an experience that combines intense flavors with an atmospheric atmosphere in a beautiful area of Milan, without necessarily having to spend too much for an aperitif with friends or romantic. It is open Tuesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
