Major international tennis comes to the foot of Mont Blanc with a double-header that promises spectacular action and thrills. The Courmayeur Sport Center will first host an innovative single-elimination exhibition, followed by a highly anticipated women’s tournament.
Courmayeur is one of Europe’s most prestigious and iconic mountain tourist destinations, located in the Aosta Valley at the foot of the Italian side of Mont Blanc. Its appeal to tourists stems from a blend of rugged natural beauty, sports, and mountaineering history. What are you waiting for? Come experience a weekend of nature and sports!
Saturday, October 24, 2026, kicks off with an adrenaline-fueled charity event: the Kia Golden Point Courmayeur. In this competition, the classic rules of tennis are turned on their head in favor of elimination based on a single rally. Whoever wins the point advances; whoever misses is out. No sets, no deuces, and no chance for a comeback: the players (a mix of pros and amateurs) will have to step onto the court and give it their all right off the bat. It’s a highly compelling format for television, which has already been successfully tested at the Australian Open in January 2026. On that occasion, it was Jannik Sinner himself who inaugurated the format, and he has confirmed his participation in the 2027 Melbourne edition. The entire event will be broadcast live on Plus TV (channel 402 on digital terrestrial TV) and streamed online.
