We have already told you about our favorite ice cream parlors in the city, but coming up in Milan there will be one more opportunity to taste original ice cream flavors. Gelato Week will be held from March 25 to 30.
The idea comes from a group of 4 brothers who created the MilanoconGelato page years ago. But what is MilanoconGelato? As stated on their website, it is a page designed for ice cream lovers, lovers of Milan and ice cream lovers in Milan. The aim of these ambitious guys is to make people discover the “sweeter side” of Milan.
Gelato Week: everything you need to know

Gelato Week in Milan will involve 25 gelaterias, divided into five thematic routes based on the subway lines (red, green, yellow, blue and lilac) for easy travel. Each gelateria will offer a limited edition flavor inspired by the color of the route to which it belongs.
Experiences such as workshops and guided tastings are also planned. Gelato Week Experiences are divided into Gelato Week Events and Gelato Week Points. Gelato Week Events are special events that combine gelato with other gastronomic excellence, while Gelato Week Points are ice cream parlors, bars and restaurants that will offer exclusive creations during Gelato Week, with discounts for ticket holders.
Among the gelaterias present will be Pavé, Iconico, Freddo Gelato, Premiata Cremeria and many others. On the event’s official website you will be able to locate the gelato shops on your route so you can easily reach them and find out about scheduled experiences and discounts reserved for those who decide to participate in Milano Gelato Week.
The event will conclude on Sunday, March 30, with “Fuori Gelato” at Officine del Volo, Via Mecenate 76/5. Admission to Fuori Gelato is free. There will be showcooking and masterclasses with master gelato makers, industry experts and innovative gelato shops.
How much does it cost.
With a ticket of 10 euros (cup) or 14 euros (cone) you can enjoy 5 ice creams in the ice cream parlors of your selected route with 1-2 flavors.
