There’s a place in Milan where, this summer, indie music is no longer just a background playlist and the pool is no longer just a place to cool off from the scorching sun. In July, one of the city’s most beautiful pools transforms into a “ ” venue for live concerts under the stars. The Bagni Misteriosi is hosting a mini-series of three indie concerts designed for those who don’t want to miss out on live outdoor music without having to go to a massive summer festival, but prefer to stay comfortably by the pool.
No arenas, no massive stages: here, the setting is much more intimate. The genre is the one that has served as the soundtrack for so many out-of-towners and subway commuters—classic singer-songwriter music, where lyrics about failed romances and new beginnings are accompanied by simple guitar strums. The “È tempo di indie” initiative kicked off on June 17 but continues through July 22 with three more events.
It’s indie time: upcoming events
Three Wednesdays, three concerts, and a stunningly lit pool. The audience arrives around sunset and picks a spot by the pool. At 8:30 p.m., emerging artists begin playing their songs as darkness falls over the Bagni Misteriosi and the pool lights come on, revealing the intense blue of the pools. The initiative aims to showcase emerging acts you’d rarely get to hear in such a spectacular setting and, at the same time, offers Milanese residents live concerts for just €15 (a steal, considering it’s Milan).
It’s not your typical “main event,” but one of those laid-back options that works perfectly as a last-minute idea for a night out with friends after a day at the office or at college.
July 8, 2026 – SANTACHIARA + DELVENTO
July 15, 2026 – MORAMA + CARLA FUCCI
July 22, 2026 – FILOSPADA + EYES BE QUIET
Tickets are available on the Franco Parenti Theater at the Bagni Misteriosi website .

Summer and Live Music: Concerts Under the Stars in Milan
This summer, music in Milan finds its place in gardens, swimming pools, and historic theaters. For classical music lovers, Candlelight offers a series of open-air concerts in the green spaces of the luxurious Terme de Montel and in the open-air theater at Villa Clerici. In these Milanese settings, string quartets composed of professional musicians will perform breathtaking classical concerts, reinterpreting timeless masterpieces such as Einaudi’s melodies or pop and rock hits by bands like Coldplay or artists like Cremonini. Even the Castello Sforzesco comes alive with musical events, thanks to the “Estate al Castello” festival .
