It is not news that the younger generation is increasingly aware of and concerned about mental health. In recent years, initiatives promoting wellness of the mind have multiplied, especially in Milan, a city that gives a lot but takes away a lot, and often it is our mental health that suffers. Stress, fear of failure, and burnout are the order of the day due to a society under increasing pressure.
Expressing how one feels and talking about such sensitive concepts is not always easy, and dealing with one’s feelings often requires a dreamy amount of money as well. Paranoia was created precisely with the intention of providing a safe space to talk about mental health, both informatively and personally. By popular demand, this event returns Sept. 12 and 13 at BASE, with countless new initiatives and must-see musical evenings.
Paranoia events.
During these two days, experts, activists and psychologists will guide participants in workshops called Mental Lab. Dedicated primarily to youth, but open to anyone over the age of 14, the workshops promote moments of discussion and immersive experiences regarding emotional well-being and issues that are close to the hearts of the younger generation, such as failure and anxiety. As the sun goes down, we all gather under the cash register at BASE for an evening of music and fun. On the console, artists of international prominence and new promises of electronic music but not only. All workshops, labs and even DJ sets are free.
Partnerships and Collaborations
Since 2021, the year of its creation, Paranoia has gained more and more relevance, coming in 2025 to collaborate with important partners in the world of psychology and mental health. Among many, we find the partnership with the Order of Psychologists of Lomabrdia, which guarantees the project legitimacy and professional recognition.
This year, we also add the collaboration with Serenis. The platform will offer concrete support to festival participants, and new Serenis users will also be able to take advantage of 3 psychological sessions at a discounted price and the first interview free of charge using a dedicated discount code.
Finally, Paranoia continues its collaboration with the Itaca ETS Project, which has been active since the first edition. This Italian nonprofit organization is dedicated to promoting, informing and supporting mental health issues. Paranoia contributes financially to the association, allocating part of the proceeds to fund the Schools Project, an initiative that introduces awareness and sensitization paths on psychological well-being in Italian high schools.
