In the bustling Bovisa district, you will find Spirit de Milan, a place that captures the essence of Milanese-ness through live music and a timeless atmosphere. This space, nestled in an area that has managed to renew itself while keeping its industrial identity intact, is a meeting point for those seeking a cultural and social experience that combines typical flavors with the rhythm of jazz in an informal and welcoming setting.
From glassware to jazz club
Spirit de Milan was born inside the former Cristallerie Fratelli Livellara, a historic factory designed by futurist architect Antonio Sant’Elia in 1921, which for decades was a hub of Milanese artisan production. The conversion of this space into a jazz club has breathed new life into it, transforming it into a temple of jazz, blues and folk, where traces of the industrial past cd minimalist design, set the stage for incredible live music sets.
This is the calendar of upcoming events.
From pulenta to vin
Spirit de Milan offers a simple and genuine menu inspired by the Lombard tradition with a homemade touch. You can find regional appetizers and typical dishes such as polenta fritta and risott0 alla milanese, accompanied by selected local wines. In addition, for groups of 9 to 10 people, the restaurant also offers set menus, such as Menú Bauscia or Golos. The Spirit de Milan is ideal for both dinner and after-dinner dining, where guests can nibble on something and sip one of Milan’s classic drinks, such as the Milano Milano, all while bass and saxophone solos provide the soundtrack.
