Once upon a time, there was an enchanted refuge where you could spend a romantic evening with your loved one. A fairytale refuge in the heart of the upper Brembana Valley, ideal for couples seeking a moment of peace and intimacy away from the frenetic pace of the big city of Milan, perhaps to celebrate Valentine’s Day, an anniversary, or a birthday in the name of love.
This place is not only a paradise for the most romantic, but also for those who love the mountains and unspoiled nature. In the surrounding area, there are spectacular alpine refuges, such as the Benigni Refuge, from which you can admire the majestic peaks of the Masino-Bregaglia group, or the Grassi Refuge, near the picturesque Bocchetta del Camisolo.
A tiny, tiny house in the woods
It’s called Urban Picnic and it’s the smallest Airbnb in Europe, but don’t be fooled by its size. In just 17 square meters, it has a modern bathroom, a wooden swing, and a beautiful bathtub made from a tub, perfect for warming up with a relaxing bath in a fairytale setting. The real surprise, however, is the bed. Hidden in the ceiling, it slowly lowers to the floor, revealing a romantic starry sky.
To complete the romantic getaway, Urban Picnic offers tailor-made culinary experiences: an aperitif with local cold cuts and cheeses, or a sweet awakening with brioche, jams, and locally sourced yogurt.
