DroneArt Show
The DroneArt Show lands in Milan with two unmissable dates, October 2 and 3, 2025, at the Snai San Siro Hippodrome. Hundreds of light drones will dance in the sky to the notes of live music, creating flowers, stars and spectacular choreography. Gates open at 7:30 pm, the show starts at 9:30 pm and lasts 65 minutes.

Milan Digital Week
From October 1 to 5, Milano Digital Week, the big event that brings innovation and creativity to the whole city, is back. The new beating heart is MEET – Digital Culture Centre, where talks, immersive installations and interactive experiences await you. Six thematic areas to understand how digital is changing citizenship, business, art and even our future. An unmissable opportunity to experience Milan between technology and culture.
Back in Time – The Exhibition

In Marcallo con Casone, in the beautiful Villa Beretta Magnaghi, comes Back in Time – The Exhibition, dedicated to the Back to the Future trilogy. You will be able to see up close the original 1981 DeLorean, Biff’s Ford and other iconic vehicles. There’s no shortage of memorabilia, photo sets and even a demonstration ride in the car (limited seating!).

The Jazz Room
Mark the date: October 10. The Jazz Room awaits you in Milan for a unique evening that will revive the magic of 1920s New Orleans. Cocktails in hand, brass on stage and soul-warming improvisations: a musical journey between “When the Saints Go Marching In” and “Hello Dolly.”

Giorgio Armani Privé – Twenty years of high fashion 2005-2025

Through Dec. 28, 2025, Armani/Silos is hosting the Giorgio Armani Privé – Twenty Years of High Fashion 2005-2025 exhibition. A journey celebrating two decades of creativity by one of the great masters of Italian fashion, who recently passed away. Among precious embroideries, sophisticated fabrics and elegant lines, you can discover the more refined side of Armani’s style. The exhibition occupies four floors, for a complete immersion in luxury and craftsmanship.

We call it Flamenco
On Oct. 25 at the San Fedele Auditorium is staged We call it Flamenco, a four-act show that brings the magic of Andalusia to Milan. Amid flowers, lights and shadows, professional dancers will perform six different styles of flamenco (“palos”) for an exciting journey into Spanish culture.
Two performances, at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., with tickets from 29€. If you love intense rhythms and colorful clothes, don’t miss it!

If you love art and are wondering which exhibitions to see in Milan in October, you’re in luck: there is a wealth of offerings.

- Dorothea Lange at Museo Diocesano (through Oct. 19): 140 shots that tell the story of 20th-century America.

Sueño Perro (Fondazione Prada)

A great plan for October is to take a trip to the Fondazione Prada: here comes Sueño Perro, Alejandro G. Iñárritu ‘s installation that brings back never-seen sequences from Amores Perros. A 35mm visual and sound journey that transforms the discarded fragments into a powerful new narrative.
If you’re looking for a different-than-usual – and super Instagrammable – cinematic experience, this is the place to be.
Harry Potter™: The Exhibition
From the magical world of Hogwarts™ to Porta Nuova: Harry Potter™: The Exhibition transports fans through original costumes, iconic sets, and interactive activities. You can throw a Quaffle, pull out a Mandrake, or sit in Hagrid’s giant chair. With personalized technology, the experience changes based on your choices (house, wand and Patronus). A must for wizards and muggles who want to spend an enchanted October in Milan.
Zelig
Milan’s historic cabaret returns with crackling programming for October 2025. Among the evenings: Bar Spot Live Show (Oct. 1), Queer And Now (Oct. 9), Freaks & Comedy (Oct. 10), and many other shows up to Cinemalteatro on Oct. 31. Variable tickets depending on the shows. October 2025 will be memorable for music lovers. Coming to the Unipol Forum in Assago are:
- Fabri Fibra (Oct. 1) with the Festival Tour 2025.
- Negramaro (Oct. 3) for their new palasport tour.
- Rocco Hunt (Oct. 6) with his “Ragazzo di giù” tour.
- Marco Mengoni (Oct. 12, 13 and 15) with three sold-out dates.
- Lady Gaga (Oct. 19 and 20): the big return to Italy after 7 years.
And at Magazzini Generali, on Oct. 6 there will be Piero Pelù with his “Il Ritorno del Diablo Tour 2025.”

East Market

If you love vintage markets, you must take a trip to East Market. It is the largest of the vintage markets in Milan. The event comes to life every third Sunday of the month at 88 Via Mecenate. You will really find anything: clothes, accessories, design objects, vinyls and everything you can imagine. There are businesses from a little bit from all over Italy offering the best of their products.
Does shopping make you hungry? No problem, in the square outside there are always several street food trucks with specialties such as, meatballs, fried food, sandwiches, hot dogs. In short, going to East Market is really an experience.
To enter you pay a 5 euro ticket, which can be purchased online.
If you don’t have time on Sundays, East Market is also a shop in the Porta Venezia area, open daily from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
A Candlelight concert

JAZZMI 2025
From October 23 to November 9, Milan becomes the capital of jazz with the 10th edition of JazzMi. More than 100 locations in the city will host concerts and meetings with international artists such as Diana Krall, Kokoroko, Shabaka, Flying Lotus, Paolo Fresu and Avishai Cohen. From the Triennale to the Blue Note, music will invade every corner. A festival that is more than an event: it is a sonic journey that unites different generations and cultures.
The most magical fall festival ever

In Nerviano there is Federica’s Field, a beautiful field entirely dedicated to pumpkins that from September 21 to October 31 opens its doors to delight anyone who passes by. It really is a magical place, with thousands of pumpkins of all shapes. You can carve your own pumpkin for Halloween, eat outdoors with your family or closest friends, surrounded by the idyllic nature that embraces Federica’s field, and enjoy many other activities including music, evenings and fun.
Who said fall is a boring season? Absolutely not.

Milan Wellness Week 2025
From October 6 to 12, Milan turns into an open-air gym with Milano Wellness Week. Yoga in the square, sound meditations, art, food and free workshops to reconnect with body and mind. This year’s theme is “Energy,” to be discovered in unexpected spaces scattered throughout the city.

A weekend trip to the Alpe di Siusi
If you want a weekend getaway from Milan in the fall, the Seiser Alm is perfect. In just over 3 hours by car, you can reach Europe’s largest plateau, surrounded by golden foliage. In October you can take guided sunrise hikes, participate in Törggelen (new wine and chestnuts), bake Kaiserschmarren or strudel with master bakers. A mix of nature, relaxation and local flavors that is worth every mile.

Flashdance – The Musical
From October 9 to November 30, the National Theater lights up with Flashdance – The Musical, the show that has made generations dance. On stage the story of Alex Owens and cult 80s songs such as What a feeling and Maniac. Emotion, dance and grit in a production with attention to detail.

What to do on October 31 in Milan?
