MITO SettembreMusica returns to Milan and Turin with two weeks of concerts and events dedicated to classical music, some of which are free to attend. For over 20 years, the festival has transformed the two cities into one big stage, creating an unmissable event for music lovers and anyone wishing to discover music in evocative venues and atmospheres.
What is MITO SettembreMusica?
MITO SettembreMusica is the international festival that brings Milan and Turin together through music every year. Founded in 1978 as Torino Settembre Musica, it has been a joint cultural project between the two cities since 2007. During the festival, theaters—such as the renowned Teatro alla Scala—auditoriums, churches—such as the evocative Certosa di Garegnano—courtyards, and squares host concerts and events dedicated to classical music, with the aim of making it accessible to an ever-wider audience.
