The Basil Bar in Milan dedicates about ten days to this ingredient, with creative and culinary activities inside the Casa degli Artisti in the Brera area, right in the heart of the city.
But who said pesto can only be eaten? Pesto Barilla ‘s Basil Bar will let you taste pesto in all its forms, from traditional condiment to secret ingredient in cool summer cocktails. Chef Lorenzo Cogo will head up the culinary delights you can try for lunch, aperitifs and dinner at Basil Bar, for which reservations are always required through the website.

In addition to sampling intriguing combinations and dishes created with pesto, Basil Bar guests can try their hand at cooking and learning new recipes from experts in the field. With Federico Fusca, Fra Food Love and Emanuele Ferrari, participants will learn how to use Genovese pesto in their recipes, adding a touch of flavor and freshness to simple recipes that they can reintroduce to friends and family. The masterclasses are held twice daily on Saturday, June 7, Sunday, June 8, Friday, June 13, and Saturday, June 14.
