Don’t know what to do and are looking for something adrenaline-pumping that will amaze you perhaps? If you are not afraid of great heights, you might consider a hot air balloon ride near Milan or stroll suspended more than a hundred meters above the ground crossing the world’s longest Tibetan bridge. It is located about two hours from Milan and is perfect for an immersion in nature away from the chaos of the city: Over 500 meters long for a total of 1,200 steps suspended 120 meters above the ground. A thrill
It is the longest in the world with discontinuous treads and no side ropes. Almost 4 km of steel ropes make it up. A walk in the sky. In fact, it is called the Bridge in the Sun not by chance.
Where is the world’s longest Tibetan bridge located?

The World’s Longest Tibetan Bridge or Bridge in the Sun is located in Dossena. The Bridge in the Sun is an unprecedented and breathtaking viewpoint over the striking landscapes of the Orobic Pre-Alps, with the peaks of the Grigna, Gioco and Alben mountains, and the San Pellegrino valley floor. You will embrace an expansive piece of territory as you are suspended between heaven and earth. Can there be anything more fascinating?
How does the route take place? On the website we read:the Tibetan Bridge of Dossena represents an aerial route that ideally recovers a part of the route of the ancient Via Mercatorum, which was lost due to the construction of the provincial road connecting Dossena to Serina. It starts from the village of Dossena to reach, via a connecting path, the former Roccolo Corna Bianca shooting area. After a brief on the use of carabiners and harnesses, the Bridge in the Sun is walked in the direction of the village.
So no worries, you will be nice and protected and harnessed up ready to enjoy an experience that will stay in your heart for a long time. Children under the age of 12 (at least 140cm tall) are not allowed to enter and for obvious reasons the bridge is only accessible to those with good mental and physical condition. The Tibetan bridge has a ticket price of 25 euros that can be purchased here for a duration of 40 minutes. Reservations required.
