A free exhibition at Mudec

Your sky was sea, your sea was sky
Rendering of installation, 2024
Courtesy the artist and Sara Rizzo
Until about September 21, Mudec offers two exhibitions that we think are worth visiting. The first is Il vostro cielo fu mare, il vostro mare fu cielo, a site-specific installation by Adrian Paci that transforms the agora into a blue-green mosaic with marine forms. Each fragment is a detail taken from photographs of migrant shipwrecks in the Mediterranean, culled from newspaper articles.
The second, on the other hand, is Travelogue, an exhibition that investigates travel as a universal experience, uniting cultures and disciplines. Curated by Katya Inozemtseva and Sara Rizzo, the exhibition highlights Mudec’s collections, which grew out of objects collected by Milanese travelers around the world. The main exhibition is held at Mudec, but extends into the city with a mural in San Siro and poster art in Via Tortona.
For both, admission is free. More info here.

As is customary on the last Sunday of the month, the great Vintage fair on the Navigli returns on September 31, a two-kilometer-long exhibition route that runs along the first section of the Naviglio Grande. Lovers of antiques, you cannot miss it. It is very atmospheric.
