Unique, eccentric, colorful and modern, Toiletpaper Living is an extremely unique hotel located in Milan, in the heart of Italian design and creativity. The hotel is a space where art, photography and design come together to offer an out-of-the-box experience. Both its exterior and interior perfectly represent the visionary and surrealist aesthetic of Toiletpaper magazine, from which it derives.
The interior
Its interiors are characterized by intense color combinations, bold prints, and kitschy objects. Every detail is a work of art, and Toiletpaper Livimg is the gallery. A place designed for creatives, to stimulate creativity or to surprise someone special. This luxury hotel has only 2 rooms and an apartment, spanning one 5 of the colorful buildings on Via Balzaretti, whose facades are painted with iconic graffiti, making the street one of the most Instagrammable in the city.
The rooms, all different from each other, include photographic works and installations inspired by Toiletpaper Magazine itself, as well as furnishings that are anything but traditional. A true paradise for design-loving guests, who will be able to touch iconic pieces such as Artemide “Nebula” lamps or designs in collaboration with Seletti.
Toiletpaper: from Magazine to Hotel
Toiletpaper is the brainchild of Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari. A provocative and unconventional magazine, it soon won the interest of many until it became a landmark in both the publishing and contemporary art and design worlds. In 2021, the style of the magazine was transported to the interior of the hotel. Since then, Toiletpaper Living has represented an inovative concept, combining hospitality and contemporary maximalist art.
