To call it a market is reductive because the Christkindlimarkt is huge. It is famous for its Christmas tree decorated with thousands ( more than 7000) of glittering crystals and hosts more than 120 stalls where you can find magic, sweet temptations, delicious hot drinks and irresistible little gifts to buy.
The event takes place every year during the Advent season and is famous for its scents of mulled wine and cinnamon that greet visitors as they step off the train.
The experience is designed for young and old alike. Children can enjoy a dedicated entertainment program, while adults can get lost among the stalls in search of unique gifts or be tempted by sweet and savory food specialties. You will find handicrafts, fine wool garments, spirits and much more.

With projections inside the station’s facades, you can enjoy animated shows as you wander around the market.
The market opens Nov. 20 through Christmas Eve with the following hours: Sunday through Wednesday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. While on Christmas Eve from 11 am to 4 pm.
