How to get to Rome from Milan
A historic event worth popping into Rome for this weekend. To get to the capital as quickly as possible, you can take one of the many high-speed trains and arrive in Rome in about 3h. Otherwise, you can get there by car, although we would then advise against using it to get to St. Peter’s. As with all major events, some roads may be closed temporarily to allow for quick checks and easier access.
We remind you that it is forbidden to bring:
- glass bottles, cans, glass or metal water bottles
- blunt objects
- backpacks, trolleys and other bulky objects
- laser pointers
