Between history and court life: an afternoon in the 1300s
An exciting immersive experience, which takes place entirely inside a 14th-century castle. Built at the behest of a Ghibelline nobleman, the castle was later ceded to the Municipality of Bergamo. In 1456, the military leader Bartolomeo Colleoni chose the abandoned stronghold as his personal residence, purchasing it for only 100 gold ducats. The castle is truly impressive, covering 300 hectares and including a wall, a tower, and a vast park.
Once inside the castle walls, participants will be dressed in traditional medieval clothing and taken on a guided tour of the castle’s rooms to discover the secrets of the royal residence and the customs of the time. Ladies and knights will also try their hand at period dances and ancient games, all within the castle.

The experience is called Vivi la Corte (Live the Court) and takes place inside Malpaga Castle, just 20 minutes from Bergamo and an hour from Milan.
