Milan Running Festival 2026: marathon and relay
Between castles and glass skyscrapers, the route of the Wizz Air Milan Marathon 2026 is an immersion in history and innovation. The 42.195 km course passes through Milan’s most fascinating sites: from the Castello Sforzesco to the ruins of Porta Romana, passing by the Duomo and venturing into the city’s trendiest neighborhoods, such as Gae Aulenti. The race starts at 8:15 a.m. from Corso Sempione (just past the Arco della Pace), but runners can line up at the starting grid as early as 7:00 a.m.
Alongside the Marathon, the UniCredit Relay Marathon also kicks off . This race format allows the official course to be divided into four legs, each between 6.5 and 13 km long. Runners who want to compete as a team for a charitable cause can also participate in this team race , supporting the projects of one of the 140 non-profit organizations listed on the website and divided into seven main categories.
If you haven’t registered, unfortunately the race is sold out. However, anyone who wasn’t able to get a bib can still cheer on the runners and have fun at the various Cheering Points located along the route.
