Do you, like me, go crazy for snow? Usually people are divided between those who do not tolerate it or those who love it madly. I am a lover especially in the city. The snow-covered roofs, the trees all decorated, the Madonnina del Duomo wrapped in beautiful white mantle. Snow in a city like Milan seems to totally change its essence, even the smell is different, it doesn’t even seem to live in the midst of pollution, it seems to breathe a ‘healthier air, Milan washes off the grayness, smog and pollution and seems to come back brighter, cleaned up. The Duomo glows, and everything tastes even more like Christmas and vacations. Then let’s face it the snowflakes coming down dancing in the air can’t help but put us in a good mood. Nature knows how to give us incredible shows and makes everything more beautiful.
However, snow also creates inconveniences. Traffic is paralyzed, we get soaked and wet. I prefer snow a hundred times better than a downpour in Milan. The city is like getting dressed up for an exclusive white party. It gives lightness and a sense of poetry by cleaning up the grayness. I know I am biased. According to the forecast, snow could come with sub-zero temperatures, to read the forecast.
Snow in Milan
The last snowfall was on December 28, 2020. An unhappy time for Milan and all of Italy. It should snow again just to do justice to a snowfall that almost no one really enjoyed except from the window. According to the forecast, as 3bMeteo confirms, as early as today in the late afternoon-early evening a few flakes should fall…All thanks to arctic air that is breaking over Milan. In today’s day we will encounter colder temperatures, a general cloudiness and maybe some sprinkles? According to meteorologists, yes. Noses up, we’ll see!
