For the more adventurous, we conclude this excursion of walks and hikes around the Lombard capital with an epic 218-km crossing that will take you from Milan Cathedral to the beaches of Sestri Levante. 12 stages of history, nature and breathtaking landscapes through Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and Liguria.
Passing through the Darsena and following the Naviglio Pavese, you will pass through the Certosa and the historic center of Pavia, skirting the Ticino until the confluence with the Po to reach the Oltrepo Pavese . Along the way you will discover ancient medieval villages, cross the impressive Gobbo Bridge in Bobbio, the Nure Valley and the “Tribolata Valley,” and then immerse yourself in the magic of the Apennine forests before reaching the Ligurian Sea.
Today it is possible to practice the Celtic Trail in total autonomy (before, there were no proper signposts and it was absolutely necessary to rely on the sentinels of the Trail).
