We tried a small restaurant in town, open since the 1980s. A discovery in the De Angeli area that we want to tell you about. Osteria Molo 13 is a historic restaurant in Milan (on Via Rubens) with a long tradition since 1983, is known as one of the first places to offer Sardinian seafood cuisine in the city, specializing in fresh fish dishes that reflect the authentic flavors of the island.
What to eat at Osteria Molo 13
Among the most popular dishes are definitely the raw seafood, served fresh such as GranCrudo, and specialties such as Cabras roe, Catalan-style lobster, artisanal lobster lorighittas, and Sardinian fregola with shellfish. We tasted the mussel soup (19 euros), fregula with shellfish (25 euros), spaghetti ricci, bottarga and clams (30 euros), and gilthead bream (24 euros) with potatoes and artichokes – very good. Carasau bread with EVO oil on top is brought to the table.
Plates are plentiful and you struggle to get to dessert–seadas, hot pie, zabaglione. Cookies are brought at the end with which you can sip liqueur or coffee.
Prices per person are about 60/70 euros, depending on what you order.
The restaurant has a cozy and typical osteria atmosphere, simple but well-kept, ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in an authentic Sardinian dining experience inside Milan. As soon as you enter you are struck by fish-shaped objects that descend from the ceiling. The service is courteous and professional.
