Milan is getting ready to spend an entire weekend dancing to the beat of music. From Friday, September 18, through Sunday, September 20, the Portanuova Music Fest returns for its second edition—a festival organized in collaboration with Openstage that transforms Piazza Gae Aulenti and other spaces in the neighborhood into a massive open-air stage.
Admission to the event will be free, and it will feature a rich program of concerts, performances, talks, and events dedicated to music, all set against the backdrop of Portanuova’s skyscrapers.
DJ sets, karaoke, and musical tarot readings
During the three days of the festival, Portanuova’s four stages will host over 50 artists, including Eugenio In Via Di Gioia, Rares, Chiamamifaro, PierC, Carla Hero, and España Circo Este. Rounding out the program will be DJ sets, performances, workshops, talks dedicated to music, and a special karaoke session.
Among the most intriguing activities are the “Musical Tarot” sessions, offering personalized listening recommendations, and a relaxation area where you can take a break between performances.
The event runs from September 18 to 20 in Piazza Gae Aulenti, Piazza Alvar Aalto, Via Capelli, and other venues in Portanuova, with free admission and some activities bookable via the official app.
