The San Fedele Auditorium in Milan was designed in 1964 by architects Bacchetti and Sanesi, in a style typical of the period characterized by the use of exposed concrete and formal asymmetry. It has a capacity of about 450 seats and is part of the San Fedele Cultural Center complex. In 2010 it underwent an acoustic upgrade supervised by engineer Sandro Macchi and architect Mario Broggi, with the introduction of elements such as a movable acoustic shell, a side screen and wooden panels on the five ceiling bays to improve sound quality.
