A picture is worth a thousand words, and photographers know this well. In recent years, society has become obsessed with images: we take thousands of pictures of our friends, pets, family, the beauty of nature and the tragedies of the world.
Photos are visual memories that tell fragments of history, both past and contemporary, and often trigger emotions of nostalgia, happiness or sadness. These five photography exhibitions in Milan offer a deep and varied look at the lives and realities of many, present, past or hidden, inviting us to discover authentic stories through the lens of great artists.
