A Candlelight Concert
An intimate, multi-sensory musical experience, where classical music (or modern tributes, such as the one to Ed Sheeran) blends with the warm, flickering light of hundreds of candles. Whether in the beautiful setting of a historic villa or in a Renaissance cloister, the atmosphere is dreamy and engaging. The perfect time to shake hands, whisper in each other’s ear or exchange sweet kisses in the complicit silence that precedes a note. If you are interested, find more information here.
Portello Park

Also known as Alfa Romeo Industry Park, Portello Park is very special. From the top of the spiral hill, lovers can enjoy a beautiful view of Milan’s skyscrapers. The park is located in a modern neighborhood, there are also many benches to sit and watch the sunset. There is also the world-famous longest bench in the world. Among the romantic places in Milan to give sweet kisses, this one is very deserving.
Where: Viale Renato Serra, 20149 Milan.
Sempione Park and the Bridge of the Little Mermaids
The beautiful Little Mermaid Bridge is located in Milan’s most important park, Sempione Park. According to legend, the cast iron mermaids at the ends of the bridge bring good luck to lovers. So what are you waiting for? A nice romantic kiss on this bridge will make your day memorable.
Where: Simplon Park.
Garden of Villa Belgiojoso Bonaparte
There are many parks and gardens to visit in Milan, but one that is particularly striking in its beauty is that of Villa Belgiojoso Bonaparte (or Villa Reale). An old English garden designed on commission of Count Belgiojoso by architect Leopoldo Pollack. The large green space recreates a natural landscape where ancient ruins resurface among the vegetation. Everything is very romantic here. When the golden light of the setting sun kisses the facade of the villa, it is truly something spectacular.
Where:Via Palestro, 16, 20121 Milan.
Aristide Calderini Garden

A romantic garden among ancient plants and statues that few people know about. This lovely green space grew out of the remains of a 15th-century palace, possibly the work of Bramante. The elegant building belonged to an influential family related to the Visconti. During the bombing of World War II, the palace was destroyed. Today only the entrance portico, columns and statues adorning this picturesque garden remain. A secluded place, among the most romantic in Milan perfect for tender love kisses, but also for reading a book, taking a lunch break or chatting with friends.
Where: Via Sant’Agnese, 20123 Milan.
Monte Stella or Montagnetta di San Siro

Once on top of the Montagnetta di San Siro (as the Milanese call it), the view is breathtaking. This park is frequented by joggers or those who like to take a nice walk on weekends. Mount Stella is actually fake, underneath it lies the rubble formed after the bombings of World War II. It is not a natural mountain.
In winter this “Montagnetta” becomes downright romantic. The colors of spring with nature reborn make for beautiful photographs. The park is full of tree-lined paths and there are plenty of panoramic views where you can see Milan from above at sunset. Among the foliage of its trees then, also hides the Garden dedicated to the Righteous of the whole world. A truly evocative place.
Where: Via Enrico Terzaghi, 20148 – Milan.
Brera

Another of the most romantic places in Milan that is highly rated is Brera. The chicest neighborhood that looks a bit like Paris with its small stores and trendy clubs. An evening stroll hand in hand is the perfect setting for a passionate kiss.
Where: Brera Milan.
The Duomo terraces
Undoubtedly one of the most romantic and evocative places in the city from which there are fabulous views. And then the beauty of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo with its sculptures and spires is something unique that can give you intense moments. What better place to bring your partner and kiss? Find among the spires the famous boxer of the Duomo!
Where: Piazza Duomo Milan.
Branca Tower

If you like to experience the thrill of a kiss at high altitude, you can always climb above Torre Branca in Parco Sempione. Another place to mark among the romantic places in Milan to exchange love kisses. Really ideal from which to catch a glimpse of the whole city, see a breathtaking sunset and admire the world from above hand in hand with the one you love! Priceless sensation!
Where: Viale Luigi Camoens, 2, 20121 Milan MI
Villa Necchi

Another intimate and really very atmospheric corner of paradise is Villa Necchi-Campiglio, a historic 1930s mansion now a FAI heritage site and museum, open to the public. Besides being a heavenly corner in the center of town, it is a cozy, quiet place where you can also find a very bucolic bar where you can stop for a quick break or enjoy some intimacy. Rated 10 with high praise.
Where: Via Mozart, 14, 20122 Milan MI
Brera Botanical Garden

Another place is the Brera Botanical Garden. A place where man and nature can dialogue serenely and where it is possible to encounter that greenness that is always hard to find in the city. A place of rare beauty enveloped in a timeless atmosphere. A walk here will fill your heart. Here romantics find fertile ground in which to organize a special date!
Where: Via Brera, 28, 20121 Milan MI
The Navigli

Definitely, the Navigli are to be included among the romantic places to exchange love kisses. Milan’s harbor with these canals crisscrossing the streets. A little bit Venice, a little bit Copenhagen, a charming neighborhood. Then when the sunset comes and the waters turn orange the wonder increases as does the romantic atmosphere. Bring your sweetheart along.
Where: Navigli
Library of Trees (BAM)
In the Porta Nuova area, this is a contemporary but surprisingly intimate park with circular areas of flowers, small groves and elegant pathways. At night, with the illuminated skyscrapers around it, it has a magical and very “New York” atmosphere. Who could resist having a romantic moment with this setting?
Where: Library of Trees.
Courtyard of Palazzo Archinto (Magenta area)
A hidden gem among the elegant streets of old Milan. The inner courtyard of this noble palace is silent, framed by columns, citrus vases and an almost cinematic aura. Walking together under the arcades, with footsteps echoing faintly, gives the feeling of being protagonists of a love story from another era.
Where: Archinto Palace.
Washerwomen’s Alley
Navigli area, but not on the side of the nightlife, this alley remains a secluded, old-timey corner with the old washhouse structure and low houses. Ideal for a quiet stop or a romantic chat.
Where: Lavandai Alley.
St. Alexander’s Square.
A small Baroque square, often overlooked. Perfect for a quiet moment, with the church of the same name as a backdrop. At night, it has an almost theatrical atmosphere.
Where: St. Alexander’s Square.
Quarry Park
A surprising green oasis in the heart of Milan’s west side, less crowded than the more central parks. A true romantic retreat, authentic and unexpected. At certain points, the pathways open onto glimpses of water reflecting the sky – perfect for sitting close together, in silence, enjoying a sunset all to yourself.
Where: Quarry Park.
The Red Church and the “Secret Canal” (Alzaia Naviglio Pavese)
Forget the noisy hustle and bustle of the Navigli: here, at the end of the Naviglio Pavese, a quiet, almost magical corner begins, where the water flows slowly between bent trees and old fences. Just before, the Church of San Cristoforo-one of the most poetic places in Milan-gives an evocative view, especially at sunset, when the sky turns orange and the reflection on the water looks like a painting. It is ideal for a slow walk, perhaps embraced, while discovering a hidden part of the city, where it seems to have ended up in another era.
Where: San Cristoforo Sul Naviglio.
Vettabbia Park and Chiaravalle Abbey.
A place surrounded by greenery, southeast of the city. Few people really know it. The Cistercian Abbey is fascinating, and the countryside around it gives the feeling of being light years away from the chaos of the city. Sometimes that’s just what you need to carve out a relaxing moment with a loved one.
Where: Vettabbia Park.
The Shared Garden Isola Pepe Verde
In the creative and contemporary heart of the Isola neighborhood, this spontaneous garden has a unique soul: it’s tended by volunteers and full of sweet, authentic details-from murals to handmade benches. It may not be an elegant park, but it is full of life and warmth. Perfect for a simple, romantic break, perhaps accompanied by a book read for two or a hot chocolate bought on the fly in the neighborhood. In spring, among the flowers, hanging lanterns, and hanging laundry, it really feels like a secret little world to escape to for a few hours.
Where: Green Pepper Island.
