Hygge
Hygge is a café bistro that couldn’t be cuter. The place is very cute and the atmosphere you can feel has just to do with its name. Hygge in fact is a Danish and Norwegian term employed to define a feeling, a social atmosphere related to the sense of intimacy, of being well let’s say. We have been there and have fallen in love with it. The brunch menu is plentiful and there is also a vegan version.
You choose the main dish, side dish and dessert. Unlimited water and juice. We tried the combination of eggs Benedict, smoked beet carpaccio, pickles, hasselback potatoes with remoulade sauce and sweet cornbread, hazelnut cream, lemon curd. One word: crazy.

Hotel Gallia
IN reality it’s a bit of a long shot to include Hotel Gallia in this list. But we’re going for it anyway. At the Gallia you can have breakfast while n0n being a guest. And it is so plentiful that it can easily count as Sunday brunch as well. On Sundays the hours are from 7:30 to 11:00. We tried it and really then there is no need for lunch….
Everything is taken care of and extremely high quality, you can choose to serve yourself at the buffet or a la carte. At the buffet you can find everything you want, brioche, muffins, croissants, and viennoiserie, bread (lots of different kinds), butter, jam, fruit, milk and cereal, and so much more( waffles, crepes, and pancakes can be found a la carte). Then there is the savory department: cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, sausages, potatoes, various kinds of bread (all by Davide Longoni), hummus, selection of smoked fish. But we are not going to list everything or else it is no longer a surprise. However you understood it is something formidable, a majestic buffet. It is not really to be considered brunch at all but it can be considered as such. We recommend it.
