Bar Basso
In Milan it is an institution, one of the best known historical cafes. Very renowned for its drinks. The Negroni especially. Think that the Sbagliato (The Negroni with prosecco instead of gin) was born right here.

Backdoor 43
The smallest pub in the world. That’s right. Four square meters of space for only four guests. Those who arrive later have their drinks outside. Incredible right? That’s the pub you find on the Navigli. Little visible as it does not look like it is a pub. Instead-very very very mini but very cozy.

Kilburn
Elegant, cozy, soft lighting and designer decor. Kilburn is the place to be for cocktails, good and imaginative. Kilburn is luxury, a refined cocktail bar in the heart of Porta Venezia perfect for a romantic date or one with friends to go out in the evening. You will be enveloped in new flavors and scents for a unique and special sensory journey. We were there for a corporate aperitif and the drinks really delighted us.
White rabbit
A speakeasy. Hidden behind a bookstore. You enter only with the password. A speakeasy-style speakeasy, a bit of a throwback to the American Prohibition era. Dim lights and good cocktails. For a different night out, the White Rabbit knows how to impress.

Nottingham Forest
A cocktail bar worthy of mention. Contained in size, in fact there is often a long line to get in, it falls on the list of The World’s 50 Best Bars . Here you will be immersed in a very unique location, but what makes Nottingham Forest so interesting is its cocktail offerings, some of the most unusual and unfamiliar cocktails ever seen. Elaborate, unique, incredible pairings and served in equally unusual containers. The last time we went, we drank the drink inside a shell where there was an oyster pearl inside, a real one. Playful, fun. Nottingham Forest will amaze you.

Jericho (Closed)
Among the bari cocktail bars in Milan, we also point out Jericho in the Colonne area. Jericho, besides having a beautiful dehors overlooking Basiliche Park, is a surprise. From the outside it looks tiny little but hides inside a beautiful basement space that is somewhat reminiscent of the clubs of yesteryear 1920s, leather sofas, billiards… Which can be occupied exclusively for any event you want to organize. Deborah, the owner, prepares whatever banquet you want and off you go with the party. Truly a little gem. Great drinks and warm atmosphere.

La Chiesetta
What if you felt like having a drink in a cocktail bar that is a deconsecrated church? A central bar, pointed arches and period frescoes. Here the sacred meets the profane giving you an evening different from the usual. Try the round of shots over a crucifix. Perhaps a bit sacrilegious but unusual.

Moebius
Moebius is an experimental restaurant, bistro and cocktail bar that will amaze you. Surprising drinks in constant evolution, such as the drink with dill, coconut oil, marsala and Biancosarti or with Gin, Vermouth, Mango, Olive Oil and Pink Pepper. In addition there are more than 300 references of liqueurs and spirits. On the website we read Moebius is a meeting place, a sharing space where cuisine, music and hospitality come together in an inextricable web. From dinner, to after dinner Moebius will envelop you with its warmth, music and convivial atmosphere. Must try.

Eppol
In the heart of Porta Venezia in Milan we find Eppol, a bistro and cocktail bar full of details, combining the classic with the contemporary. Eppol is the perfect place to sip drinks, have aperitifs and meet with friends. It is located on a beautiful street in Milan near some must-see Art Nouveau buildings. Simple but refined, Eppol deserves a mention on the list.

Zizania
If you are passing by the Colonne di San Lorenzo, right next to Basiliche Park, you must stop by Zizania, Milan’s cocktail bar where you can have the most colorful and irreverent aperitif in town. An unusual and peculiar drink list that, in addition to classic cocktails, also offers some out-of-the-ordinary proposals. The Pop porno for example, with bergamot juice, strawberry and cherry infusion, italicus, black cherry and sparkling crustas, or the Mi manda Diego ( one of the partners by the way) with mandarinetto, star anise infusion, blood orange, lime, blueberry juice and chocolate crustas.
All Made in Italy products and included in the price of finger foods that were very neat and beautiful to look at, as well as good. Rice base and tasty toppings, perfect to fill the stomach a bit while toasting. Zizania was a very pleasant discovery and we are sure it will soon become Milan’s place to be. 12 euros (even at 10 the super classic ones like spritz, negroni and so on) the drinks on the list – 15 the more unusual ones available only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays due to time issues because they are very elaborate to prepare. The one to order is Atmospheres, a drink served in a glass that looks like Aladdin’s lamp, with the cocktail inside accompanied by fruit balls freshly prepared by the barman. An explosion of flavors you won’t forget. Genius

Gramm
A venue specializing in cocktails, Gramm is a Victorian-style cocktail bar with green walls and lots of details to discover. Once inside, it feels like a change of world, while still staying in the City. A beautiful dehors overlooking the Navigli. They call themselves bizarre and unexpected, worth trying for a pleasant experience sipping the bar tender’s excellent drinks. You’ll find aperitif classics revisited with homemade preparations to long drinks among the most beloved.

The Jazz Room
Last but not least, we feel like recommending a show rather than a place, where you can sip a drink in the company of the greatest hits of hot jazz and soul. The show is called The Jazz Room and it takes place in the San Fedele Auditorium, just a few steps from Milan Cathedral. In the heart of the city, you can listen to all the rhythm of jazz under dim lights and feel like you are in a real New Orleans jazz club. A tribute to Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong, an homage to soulful melodies or a sizzling evening to the rhythm of improvised hot jazz, choose the show that appeals to you most, your favorite drink and let the sound carry you away!
