Hot water pools, steam baths, saunas, salt caves, massages and lots of relaxation. Since for some people the vacations are not over yet and there is still the Epiphany weekend pen and paper and off to get organized. Near Milan there are some really worthy spas where you can unplug, regenerate and feel good.

QC Terme Milan
Of course, without straying too far from the city, we find the world-famous QC Terme, recently rebranded to QC spa of wonders. Because precisely of wonders we speak. A very luxurious spa in the city center inside an Art Nouveau building. Heated outdoor pools in a very atmospheric garden. Wellness paths, salt caves, a sauna streetcar, a unique relaxation area and then the possibility of having a lucrative aperitif in a bathrobe. Terme De Montel
Recently opened in Milan, this spa stands on the ruins of the former De Montel stables in the San Siro area. It is Italy’s largest spa complex in a major city (16,000 sq. m.) and Europe’s first green, carbon-neutral spas: 10 pools, 16 massage rooms, 9 relaxation areas, 4 saunas, a steam bath and a large Hammam. Paradise. As well as a fine bistro restaurant, cafeteria, bar lounge and garden bar. Closer to Milan than this we could not ask for.

Qc Terme San Pellegrino
Still staying in the Qc Terme family, near Milan we find an exceptional spa facility in San Pellegrino. Inside an extraordinarily beautiful structure, the QC Terme di San Pellegrino features whirlpools, Kneipp path, waterfalls, saunas and relaxation rooms in a dream setting. A facility that looks like a fairy tale castle. The interior resplendent with red velvet and ceiling frescoes. Spatial.

QC Termegarda
Now we move to the Lake Garda area where we find another QC Terme spa near Milan. If you haven’t figured it out QC is synonymous with elegance, luxury and sophistication. In every QC you go to, you are sure to find the best and have a memorable experience. QC Termegarda, besides being a spa, is also a Golf Resort, in case you are interested in that activity. All around you are acres and acres of perfect polished green lawns. A true oasis within a 15th-century Renaissance mansion that is also a 5-star hotel.

Cascina Caremma
Just for a change of air and reality we move to Besate where we find a wonderful Cascina, Cascina Caremma. An enchanting, bucolic place less than an hour from Milan that offers you everything you desire. A 4-star hotel, an organic farmhouse and a superlative spa made out of the old stable spaces. It is a spa that dialogues perfectly with the surrounding nature. The view encompasses a 360-degree view of the historic vineyard and, further on, the woods of the Ticino Park. Just you and the animals of the Cascina farm. More restful than that, what more do you want?

Villa dei Cedri Garda Thermal Park
Another little place worth mentioning among the spas near Milan is Colà. A town in the province of Verona. Not exactly very close but not that far away either. Perfect for a weekend getaway. This place is incredible. A thermal park with pools of natural thermal water springing from two aquifers at 200 and 160 meters deep in the middle of a 13-hectare park with rare plants and huge thousand-year-old cedars. Astonishing. The interesting thing is the quality of the water. Very healthy, with a pretty high ph around 7.9 so with anti-inflammatory effects. Diving here not only relaxes the mind but is good for the whole body. There is also a hotel to stay in.

QC Terme Bormio.
Among the spas fairly close to Milan, although 3 hours takes all of it, we point out another QC family facility, those in Bormio.
