What could be better than a delicious brioche with cappuccino? A good way to start the day off right. For this reason, we at Secret Milano have selected 15 places that offer delicious brioche. The term brioche in the North is used to refer to the classic Italian cornetto, which in turn differs from the French croissant (the latter is not prepared with eggs and the butter flavor is stronger).
So let’s see what are the places to have breakfast in Milan to eat a delicious brioche (cornetto).
Ziva Pastry Shop – De Angeli
Ziva is a family-run pastry shop where artisanal breakfast products and great leavened goods are prepared with sourdough. The cafeteria service allows you to have breakfast on the premises and choose from a variety of treats. Don’t miss the Blond Chocolate Namelaka with apricots and black sesame or the Cornetto with cream, mascarpone and strawberries.
Prefer more traditional flavors? Their cream brioche is a guarantee.
📍 Address: Via Federico Faruffini, 2, 20149 Milan, Italy
Malìa Milano – Primaticcio
This pastry shop with bistro is also known for its brunch. But we really like its breakfasts. Neapolitan traditions emerge here thanks to Cristina and Francesco, who take us on a discovery of products prepared with care and quality ingredients. The ricotta and red fruit cornetto is delicious, as is the pistachio one: crispy, buttery-scented pastry with a mouthwatering filling.
📍 Address: Viale Legioni Romane, 55, 20147 Milan, Italy
Sucrè & Salè – Porta Ticinese
At Sucrè & Salè you will be greeted by a wide selection of fresh, light brioche that will start your day with a smile. Their giant brioches are a real treat for the eyes and the palate. We highly recommend you try the pistachio and white chocolate versions-a real treat! The cozy atmosphere and honest prices make this place a must for your Milanese breakfast.
📍Address: Corso S. Gottardo, 41, 20136 Milan, Italy
Gelsomina – Centrale
Gelsomina artisanal pastry shop is a bright and well-kept establishment. It is located a short walk from the Central Station. The house specialty is the maritozzo with cream, but the freshly prepared hot brioche is also delicious. We recommend the brioche with pistachio cream. Vegan site? Good news: their vegan brioche is tasty and fragrant.

Clèa Pasticceria Culinaria- Washington, DC
Clèa Pasticceria Culinaria is the ideal place for those looking for an out-of-the-box breakfast. With over 30 flavors of well-stuffed croissants, this trendy spot offers a unique dining experience. The must-try? The famous Brioches at KuBo, available on weekends: four worlds of pure joy in one bite! Be sure to try the tiramisu croissant and the brioche cube with caramel cream. And for the more line-conscious, there are also vegan options that won’t make you regret a thing!
📍 Address: Via Giacomo Boni 25 corner Via Vetta D’Italia, 18, 20144 Milan, Italy
Sugar Paper- Baggio
A corner of sweetness in the center of Baggio. The place offers simple cakes and sweets “made as they are made in the home kitchen,” prepared with genuine ingredients. The bakery also has a mini library for the little ones. For breakfast, we recommend the soft brioches with jam and those with cream: among the best in Milan.

The cream croissants are divinely good, as are the pistachio croissants, with a honeycombed interior and crispy exterior that will make you forget you’re gluten-free. Also a great option in Porta Romana for those who do not have intolerance problems but want to try something different.
Also worth mentioning are the savory brioches that cater to different dietary needs: with salmon and delactosed spreadable cheese, with crudo and arugula, with bresaola, delactosed cheese and salad, and then the vegetarian with avocado, delactosed spreadable cheese and tomato, and the vegan, with grilled eggplant, trevisana and tomato.

Aroma Napoletano – Porta Garibaldi
If you love Neapolitan-style brioche, Aroma Napoletano is the place for you. Their brioche are huge, fluffy and filled with goodness. The pistachio cornetto and the Ischitano XXL are real must-tries. Marlà Pastry Shop – Porta Romana
A pastry shop in Milan that churns out delicious croissants with cream. If you are looking for something different from the usual try the saccottino with spelt and raspberry. We like this pastry shop so much because it knows how to surprise with interesting seasonal versions of brioche, such as the fig braid, with custard and fresh figs, and the Noisette saccottino, with croissant dough, hazelnut Chantilly cream filling and hazelnut praline with hazelnut crumbs on top.
And if you are a fan of “doughnuts,” find their fantastic light krapfen in a version with custard and juicy raspberry jam.
