East Market

East Market is the largest of the vintage markets in Milan. The event comes to life every third Sunday of the month at 84 Via Mecenate. You can really find anything here. From clothes, to accessories, designer items, vinyls and everything you can imagine, there is here. The event is really an experience. There are realities from a little bit from all over Italy offering the best of their products. If you want to go on a vintage “binge,” East Market is for you. While if you want to binge in the true sense of the word, in the square outside there are always several street food trucks with specialties such as, meatballs, fried food, sandwiches, hot dogs. In short, East Market knows how to grab people and make them experience something special.

Antiques exhibition in downtown Milan

Famous vintage market that has filled the streets of the neighborhood of the same name since 1981. The event takes place every third Sunday of the month. Visitors can discover, among the tiny streets of the neighborhood, numerous stalls including costume jewelry, vintage and accessories.
The fair in Senigallia

Historic Milan Fair. It is the oldest flea market in Milan and dates back to the 1800s. It takes place on the Navigli every Saturday. The amount of stalls you can find is exponential, as are the products ranging from furniture, clothes, accessories, old coins, DVDs, vinyls, shoes, bags, leather goods, hardware items and much more. It is truly picturesque as an atmosphere.

Another little place to browse and find cute and “old-fashioned” items is Remira Market. Another reality to be included among the vintage markets in Milan that you cannot miss. Barter Market

Not quite vintage but enough is the Mercato del Baratto (Barter Market), the market where everything is free that is the largest in Italy. How it works. You bring a maximum of 15 items of your choice (in good condition if possible) to trade for other items you like best. Each item becomes a token to be used later at the various stalls. A cute, nice and sustainable way to get rid of what we no longer like and give things new life instead of throwing them away. No money, just barter like in the old days. Curious, no? Free and free admission. Every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Mercatone dell’Antiquariato at the Naviglio Grande
The Mercatone dell’Antiquariato is held on the last Sunday of the month on the Navigli: you can explore a route of stalls (from Viale Gorizia to the bridge on Via Valenza) with more than 380 stands of quality antiques. From ceramics to jewelry, furniture to vintage fashion, it’s Milan’s secondhand market perfect for unearthing unique pieces.
